Fostering Helps! Program

Currently VFS is collaborating with the Alabama Foster Parent Association in regards to our Fostering Helps! Program. This program offers much needed support groups to foster families who are trying to navigate the system by including:  emergency personal hygiene bags for the children, quarterly support groups, training
opportunities for maintaining continued foster parent certification at each meeting, and
providing mentoring relationships between novice and more experienced foster families
within these groups.

Facilitators: Alabama Foster Parent Association
Meeting Times: Quarterly
Tuesdays 6:30 to 8:30 pm
